There are numerous providers out there. The most widely used providers out there are Magento, Shopify, and WordPress. These are all good CMS and shopping cart solutions. However, if you are using WordPress or Magento, make sure you have a solid dedicated server. A server can make or break your performance. You should also have a great tech team in place that can help you resolve any delays.
If you are using WordPress be caution about any plugins you are adding. WordPress plugins can not only halt your page speed, but can conflict with other settings. We are always really careful about what plugins we use. A rule of thumb is, if you are not using the plugin delete it or disable it. There is no reason to have plugins enabled if you are not using them. It’s just going to eat into your hosting resources.
